Landmark Creamery's newest cheese, Zentner Alpine - creamy and nutty with herbal notes and a touch of earthy funk. Named after cheesemaker Anna Landmark's Swiss grandfather, Delmar Zentner, this cheese represents Anna's journey as a cheesemaker and deep connection to her family's Swiss heritage. Eight generations ago, Anna's ancestors immigrated from the Glarus canton in Switzerland to Wisconsin seeking land to farm. Inspired by her Grandfather's love of his land and his cows, Anna found her way into cheesemaking. Alpine cheeses aren't easy to make, and Zentner is a perfect expression of Anna's skill and passion for making delicious cheese. 

Brown Swiss cow milk is used exclusively to make Zentner Alpine, coming from two dairies with 100% Brown Swiss herds in the heart of Green County, Wisconsin. Brown Swiss milk has a higher percentage of protein, which helps to give this cheese the perfect texture.
